Individualised Funding (IF) is government disability funding that you control. Instead of an agency deciding what support you get, you and your family decide how the budget is spent.
An organisation called a host handles the payments and paperwork for you. You choose the support. They keep it running smoothly.
IF is administered by Disability Support Services (DSS), part of the Ministry of Social Development.
