What Neuro Support is, who it's for.
What is Neuro Support?
Neuro Support is a specialist support service for adults with ADHD or autism, based in Christchurch and available NZ-wide. It combines in-person community support with a tech-powered personal support agent built on Claude AI and Notion.
The core idea: nothing should live in your head if it can live somewhere external. The system holds your tasks, routines, decisions, and context, so you don't have to.
Built by Jamie Robinson, a neurodivergent support worker with 15 years of experience and lived ADHD experience.
What's the difference between Neuro Support and ADHD coaching?
ADHD coaching is typically weekly sessions where you talk through challenges and strategies with a coach. The coach helps you think. You do the work between sessions.
Neuro Support installs a system. The Neuro Agent install ($999, one-off) configures your phone with Claude AI and Notion so the system itself holds your tasks, routines, and context. You don't need to remember strategies or push through willpower. The system speaks first.
Coaching can be valuable. It's just a different shape. Neuro Support is suited to people who want infrastructure rather than ongoing conversations.
Is Neuro Support for ADHD only, or also autism?
Both. The system is built for ADHD and autism, or both, which is common. Many of the underlying needs overlap: working memory support, task initiation, sensory-friendly environments, structure that doesn't depend on willpower.
Some clients have a formal diagnosis. Others don't. The system works either way.
Do I need a diagnosis to use Neuro Support?
No. Neuro Support is suitable for adults who are diagnosed, self-identified, or simply recognise themselves in the patterns. We don't gate access to support behind a diagnosis.
If you do have a diagnosis, that may help with funding pathways like Individualised Funding. But it's not required to start.
How the Neuro Agent install works.
What is the Neuro Agent install?
The Neuro Agent install is a 90-minute appointment where Jamie sets up your phone as a working external executive function system. You bring your phone (iPhone recommended, modern Android supported) and your accounts (Claude and Notion, both free to start). Jamie configures Claude AI, builds your Notion workspace, sets up the Action Button shortcut for quick capture, and walks you through using the system.
The install is $999, one-off. After the install, the system is yours. You own the data, the accounts, and the configuration.
What do I get with the $999 install?
The 90-minute install includes:
- A working personal Support Agent (a personalised version of Claude AI that knows your context)
- Your Notion workspace, structured for ADHD or autism brains
- Action Button setup on iPhone (or quick-capture alternative on Android) for one-press voice capture
- Sensory-friendly settings on your phone
- A walkthrough of using the system day-to-day
After the install, the system is yours. You can keep using it indefinitely with no ongoing cost. The optional Neuro Support tier at approximately $500/month adds maintenance, agent-driven Help, and content curation.
Do I need an iPhone, or does it work with Android?
iPhone is recommended. Modern Android (2020 or newer) is supported with an alternative quick-capture surface, since the Action Button is iPhone-specific.
If you have an iPhone, you'll get the smoothest setup. If you have an Android, the system still works, just with a slightly different capture flow.
The phone itself is your own purchase, separate from the install fee. Most clients use a phone they already have.
Can the install be done remotely?
Yes. The install can be done in person in Christchurch or remotely via video call anywhere in New Zealand. Both work. The experience is the same.
First-time clients sometimes prefer in-person if they're in Christchurch, since Jamie can set up directly on your phone. Remote installs use screenshare and are equally effective.
What it costs and how funding works.
Can I use Individualised Funding for Neuro Support?
Yes, if you're an Individualised Funding (IF) recipient through Disability Support Services. Each Neuro Support transaction is priced under the $1,500 IF per-transaction threshold, so it doesn't need pre-approval.
The Neuro Agent install ($999), Support Sessions ($60), Operational tier (approximately $500/month), and Neuro Max ($1,499) all sit under the threshold. Your Coordinator can help you process payments through your IF host.
If you're not on IF, the same pricing applies as private pay. Funding doesn't change the service.
What does it cost without funding?
Same prices as with funding. Funding doesn't change what you pay, just how the payment is processed.

Your phone is your own purchase, separate from the install fee.
Where your data lives, and what happens if you leave.
Is my data private? Where does it live?
Your data lives in your own accounts: your Notion workspace, your Claude account. Neuro Support doesn't host any of it.
The Notion workspace has two spaces. The Neuro Support space holds the Jamie-visible scaffolding (your support notes, current focus, Help requests). The Home space is yours alone. Jamie cannot see it. This separation is enforced at the architecture level, not just at the permissions level.
If you stop working with Neuro Support, your data stays with you. Nothing is held hostage.
What if I want to leave? Do I lose everything?
No. The data lives in your accounts (Claude, Notion). The system is yours.
If you stop the Operational tier, the Neuro Agent install you paid for keeps working. Your Notion workspace, your captures, your routines, all stay. You can continue using the system without ongoing involvement from Neuro Support.
This is by design. The Neuro Support Protocol is built around the principle that the person owns the system. You should be able to walk away with everything intact at any time.
Why Claude AI is the foundation.
Why Claude AI? Why not ChatGPT or another AI?
Claude is the AI Neuro Support is built around for a few reasons: it handles long-form context well (important for an Agent that needs to remember your life), it's good at the structured Notion workspace work the system depends on, and the integration patterns suit ADHD and autism brains.
Other AI tools can be useful in their own right. The Neuro Agent install specifically configures Claude. If Claude or any tool ever becomes unsuitable, the Protocol survives. The principles are durable. The tools are replaceable.
