The week the pivot landed

A weekly note from the Neuro Support build. What shifted, what we noticed, where the work is going.

Notion-native validation

A building's architectural geometry, lines and grid in black and white.

The Notion-native pivot had been an idea since the Custom Agents preview opened. This week it became architecture. Three days of validation passes against a sandbox client closed clean: the Hybrid Member Model works. Clients sit as paid Members of Jamie's workspace, in private teamspaces. Per-client Custom Agents grant Jamie access to the agent itself but not to the underlying client teamspace pages.

Implementation 76 set the security posture for the new architecture. Plan tier verification (Business floor, Enterprise gates), 2FA on Jamie's primary account (TOTP not SMS), AI compliance scope clarified, exit-portability verified.

The architecture before was the guest model — client-owned Notion, Jamie as guest. The architecture now is the Member Model — Jamie-owned workspace, client as Member with private teamspace, structural isolation enforced by Notion permissions. Different topology. Same Principle 5: the client owns their data and can leave with it.

The data plane moved. The principle didn't.

Support network

Walker Evans, Roadside stand near Birmingham (1936) — the everyday community the documentary frame held in view.

Concept 42 — Support Network Shared Space — landed on 3 May. The client invites their circle of support (family, therapists, support workers) as guests into their workspace. The client is admin; the network is invitee-controlled. The Agent reads the network's contributions on the client's behalf; the network reads the Agent's surfacing on the client's behalf. The relationship Jamie has been carrying solo — the always-available human backup between Sessions — distributes across the people already in the client's life.

The implication for Stage 2 (cross-disability expansion via lived-experience advocates) is real. With the network absorbing the inter-session human-backup role, an advocate's skill bar drops from "run the whole service" to "deliver the install and the high-value human parts." The architecture compresses the timeline.

The client's support network was already there. The architecture invites it in.

Service fork

Caspar David Friedrich, Wanderer above the Sea of Fog (1818) — a figure at a vantage point, the path forward visible only from where they stand.

Concept 37 — Support Sessions and the Service Fork — closed the service shape that Concept 43 (a week later) would build on. Discovery Call (free, 15–30 min, universal entry point). Support Sessions ($60, 30 min, online, anyone). Neuro Agent install (then $1,499). Neuro Support (ongoing block work, then). The Strategy Session retired — its three functions absorbed across the Discovery Call, Support Sessions, and the install interview.

Below the NZ ADHD coaching benchmark by design. Funnel economics: a below-market session price that converts a fraction of clients to the full system is better business than a market-rate session price that doesn't convert at all. Every Support Session is a passive Neuro Agent demo.

Pricing the entry point below the benchmark is a funnel decision, not a discount.

Workspace Sweep

A Graham (deadbeat) escapement diagram — escape wheel, pallets, pendulum crutch; the routine that fires on regular interval.

Implementation 72 — the Workspace Sweep — packaged five ordered R-rule passes as one nightly routine. R5 inbox classification → R3 calendar surfacing → Reminders due-check → R4.1 Signal synthesis → KB staleness check. Implementation 73 plus 74 added the Back Tap Quick Sync — double-tap the back of the iPhone, fire R5 inbox processing on demand, ~5 seconds to drain the inbox.

Five R-rules running in sequence, two trigger paths (scheduled plus on-demand), one operational surface. The Agent stopped being a tool to ask and became a routine that runs.

A tool you have to invoke is a tool that doesn't fire on the worst day. A routine that runs does.

What's next

Week 7 (the live one) brought the architectural pivot to its commercial form — Concept 43 (the Complete Support System) collapsed the block-track structure into a cleaner shape. The funded-vs-unfunded MSD OIA arrived. The finance pipeline got its architecture. Concept 49 named the wrapper logic that makes Operational pricing defensible.

The pivot landed. The commercial form was next.
